Udaipur : A women was crushed to death when she came under the tyre of a Rajasthan roadways bus in front of the district court in Udaipur on Monday morning. The couple on a bike was hit by the bus from behind. Both fell down. While the woman’s husband fell on the other side and received minor injuries, the woman fell towards the front tyre and was dragged for around 15 feet. After the incident the driver left the bus and fled.
Logar Dangi, a resident of Bhuwana in Udaipur, along with his wife Dhanni Bai had come to the market for shopping for her daughter’s wedding which is after 2 days. The spot near the court has turned into an accident hotspot because of the shortage of parking space around the court and commercial establishments in the area. After the accident, the lawyers also gathered at the spot and raised slogans demanding the removal of the divider. The representatives of the Dangi community also gathered on the spot and demanded compensation.
