Udaipur 3 May 2021. After the strict guidelines and warning issued by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to take action against the violators. The city administration has sprung into action and is in no mood to spare anyone not following the Covid guidelines. Due to the present Covid scenario the state Government has declared a Red Alert under the Jan Anushashan Pakhwada. On Monday, the city police acted against persons who were found wandering aimlessly during the curfew. 138 persons were nabbed and quarantined under various police stations and will be released only when their Covid report is found Negative.
District Superintendent of Police Dr. Rajeev Pachar informed that under Surajpol police station of the city 6 persons were quarantined, under Bhupalpura police station 7, Pratapnagar police station 26, Hiranmagri police station 11, Savina police station 10, Hathipol police station 7, Ambamata police station 5, Ghantaghar police station 4, Sukher police station 13, and 3 persons were detained and quarantined under Govardhanvilas police station. These personds were detained and will remain under quarantine untill the RTPCR report is found negative.
